SEESAW

SEESAW is a space for culture, community, work, art, wellbeing, coffee and food in one of Manchester’s historic warehouses reimagined as a creative hub, workspace, cafe, events and exhibition space.

Copywriter and voice guidelines

Working with old friends at Absurd agency, I was asked to help define SEESAW’s voice and approach for its website and app prior to opening its epic working space in Manchester.

Using the extensive research the Absurd team had carried out, I helped define the user personas that would inform the foundations of how we would speak to our community. I created a detailed tone of voice guide and toolkit covering everything from our overarching company principles to house style rules and language, designed in a way that anyone could use it to create on brand copy quickly and easily.

Once approved, I wrote and owned all copy across the extensive website up until launch.
